Israeli Trailblazers Show
Every episode you will meet a remarkable person whose bold thinking, brave research or world changing invention is already making your life and the lives of millions of others measurably better. You are benefiting from ideas created by people you will never meet, in a country the size of New Jersey, that the world cannot stop arguing about. Israel. Stop arguing for one second. Look at what they built. Wildfires stopped before trucks leave the garage. Cancer caught in five minutes from your couch. Your seizure predicted hours before you feel it. All Israeli. All ignored by the media. Even Elon Musk called Israel number one in the world for innovation per capita. So why does nobody know these people's names? Host Jennifer Weissmann fixes that. One founder. One breakthrough. Under 20 minutes. Your life is already better because of Israelis you have never met. This show introduces them.

Why Does Your Phone Fail The Exact Moment You Need It Most β And Who Already Solved That Problem?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
You have five bars of signal right now. Full strength. Perfect connection.
That is exactly what the people at Astroworld had in 2021 when the crowd surge began. Five bars. And then thousands of people tried to call for help simultaneously and the network collapsed under the weight of the emergency it was supposed to serve. Ten people died. Help took forty minutes to coordinate because the communication system that everyone relied on had failed at the exact moment it was needed most.
The same pattern repeated at the Nova Festival in 2023. Three thousand people desperately needed rescue. Everyone called 911 at once. Cell towers overloaded. Coordination broke down. The technology that works perfectly for ordering dinner does not work at all when a mass emergency demands it.
Cell networks were never engineered for the moment when everyone in the same place needs help at the same time. That is not a flaw that can be patched. It is a structural limitation built into how the system was designed.
An Israeli company called DOT SAGA built a solution specifically for that gap. This is that story.
